Keysight Technologies Singapore employs people in R&D, sales and marketing, and business hub activities. The Singapore site houses the electronic manufacturing test business, which includes the research and development of the in-circuit test platform and solutions.
The team in Singapore is responsible for Asia Pacific sales, marketing, consulting, customer contact centers, online technical support and instrument service repair and support functions. It also provides high-value business services and operations such as business management, treasury, tax intellectual property, legal, strategic supplier management and supply chain.
Keysight has a long presence in Singapore. It began operations in Singapore in 1970 as Hewlett Packard (HP) Singapore. In 1999, Agilent Technologies was created after it was spun-off from HP. In September 2013, Agilent announced the separation of its sciences, diagnostics and applied markets (LDA) businesses and the electronic measurement business into two industry-leading public companies.
Today, Keysight Technologies Singapore is a key strategic operational site for the company with its position as the regional center for South Asia Pacific sales, marketing, customer support, and services and repair; the global center for high-value business services and operations such as treasury, intellectual property, tax, legal, strategic supplier management, supply chain and information technology; and, the center of excellence for Advance Manufacturing, Data Analytics and IoT Security.
