Zendesk builds software for better customer relationships. It empowers organizations to improve customer engagement and better understand their customers. Zendesk products are easy to use and implement. They give organizations the flexibility to move quickly, focus on innovation, and scale with their growth.
Zendesk was built upon a simple idea: Make customer service software that is easy to use and accessible to everyone. The company has expanded on that idea, and now offers a growing family of products that work together to improve customer relationships, and can be embedded and extended through an open development platform.

Zendesk Core Values
1. Practice empathy
There is always more than one way of looking at things, and being aware of these differences makes for a stronger company. So we try to understand and work with the diverse perspectives involved in everything we do — from customers, users, and even people from different parts of the company. We also embrace the responsibility that comes with being a giant corporation, and give back to our communities as much as we can.
2. Focus on relationships
We sell our software by reminding other companies that a business is made up of relationships. Ours is no different. And in order to have good relationships, you need to be honest, responsive, and kind. That doesn't mean telling your boss they look nice when those shoes clearly aren't working for them. Share information when it's useful, but more importantly, think about the larger purpose for doing so. Listen to what people say, respond with good intentions, and be open to feedback when it's given to you. Our goal is to do good work, but we also have to work to make each other better.
3. Be humblident
When we first started, humility played a big part in the way we conducted ourselves. But we've achieved a lot since then, and not just because we have a good intuition. We succeeded because we worked hard, messed things up, fixed them, and learned from our mistakes along the way. How we talk about that success is important. We want to retain our humility, but we want to acknowledge that we work hard and make cool shit. So we created a new word. It's equal parts humble and confident, and it allows us to highlight what we've done well while being honest about the messy process involved in achieving it.
